Wangjiang (means overlooking a river from a distance) Tower Park sits on the southern bank of Jinjiang in Chengdu City. It is a memorial to a female poet of the Tang Dynasty (618 - 907) - Xue Tao.

The pavilion she lived is called Wang Jiang Lou (Riverview Pavilion). The special shape of the pavilion makes it quite distinguished from others. Decorated with red walls, green color roof and picture-carved colored beams, even after many centuries, visitors can still enjoy the feeling of its grand and magnificent past.

Wangjiang Tower is a symbol of Chengdu City and Wangjiang Tower Park became the ideal place to appreciate bamboos in Chengdu City. This park is dedicated to a poet, and the hundreds of different types of bamboo are the scenery there, which is why Riverview Pavilion is also called "Park of Bamboo"
